About the Conference

The ATENA International Conference of Young Linguists is a recurring academic event organized since 2020 by the Institute of Applied Linguistics of the University of Rzeszów in cooperation with the POLYGLOTS Student Research Club.

The conference has become a permanent part of the academic landscape of the University of Rzeszów, providing a space for presenting research findings and exchanging experiences among young researchers from various academic centers.

The event is addressed to undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students conducting research in the fields of linguistics, foreign language teaching, translation studies, and cultural studies.

The conference aims to support the academic development of young researchers, present the diversity of research topics undertaken, and integrate the academic community around linguistic and translation-related issues.

The post-conference publications continue the publishing initiatives associated with the ATENA conference, carried out within the series “New Vistas in Language Studies. Young Scholars’ Perspectives”, published by the University of Rzeszów Press.
