Informacje

Research is conducted in the field of plant physiology and crop production technology, with a focus on the mechanisms underlying crop plant responses to environmental stresses and on approaches to mitigating their effects through agrotechnical and biochemical treatments. The studies analyse the impact of salinity stress and other abiotic factors on the functioning of the photosynthetic apparatus, the activity of antioxidant systems, as well as key growth and yield parameters of plants.

An important research direction involves experiments on the foliar application of micronutrients and bioactive compounds, including flavonoids, and the evaluation of their role in improving plant physiological status and stabilising production under stress conditions. In parallel, agrotechnical aspects are addressed, with particular emphasis on the effects of sowing parameters and cultivation technologies on the quality of plant raw materials and the functional properties of seeds. The scientific output also includes studies on the use of agricultural crops as raw materials for industrial and energy applications.
