Opis tematu badawczego / Description of the research topic	Przeobrażenia, jakie zachodzą w kulturze zachodnioeuropejskiej, doprowadziły do sytuacji, w której wartości, modele życia społeczno-kulturowego, wzorce postępowania wydają się być uwolnione od ograniczeń i lokalnych uwarunkowań. Charakter zachodzących procesów wpływa na wykształcenie się nowych paradygmatów i wzorców kulturowych. 1. Tematy, które warto podjąć w ramach dysertacji doktorskich powinny, moim zdaniem, ujmować problematykę rozwoju nowych technologii, rzeczywistości wirtualne, które to wpływają na niemal wszystkie obszary ludzkiego życia zmuszają do nowego ujęcia/redefinicji dotychczasowych wartości, paradygmatów, pojęć. Zagadnienia te wymagają podjęcia refleksji nad wpływem techniki na etyczny wymiar życia człowieka. 2. Kolejnym zagadnieniem, które warte jest analizy w perspektywie przemian ponowoczesnej kultury jest estetyzacja sfery etycznej. Współcześnie widoczna jest dążność do zastąpienia estetyką funkcji etyki, która straciła swój dotychczasowy status, a tradycyjne wartości uległy przewartościowaniu. Dokonujące się przemiany społeczno-kulturowe prowokują do refleksji nad kryzysem wartości i coraz intensywniejszym wartościowaniem estetycznym.	The transformations that are taking place in Western European culture have led to a situation in which values, models of social and cultural life, and behavior patterns seem to be free from limitations and local conditions. The nature of the processes taking place influences the development of new paradigms and cultural patterns. 1. Topics that are worth taking up as a part of the doctoral dissertations should, in my opinion, include the issues of the development of new technologies, virtual realities, which affect almost all areas of human life, force a new approach / redefinition of existing values, paradigms, concepts. These issues require reflection on the influence of technology on the ethical dimension of human life. 2. Another issue worth analyzing from the perspective of the changes in postmodern culture is the aestheticization of the ethical sphere. Nowadays, there is a tendency to replace with aesthetics the function of ethics, which has lost its current status, and traditional values have been reevaluated. The ongoing socio-cultural changes provoke reflection on the crisis of values and more intense aesthetic evaluation.
