Stypendium doktoranckie / PhD scholarship

 

  1. Każdy/a doktorant/ka nieposiadający/a stopnia doktora otrzymuje stypendium doktoranckie.
  2. Stypendium doktoranckie nie przysługuje doktorantowi, którego kształcenie w szkole doktorskiej wiąże się z obowiązkiem zatrudnienia w podmiocie prowadzącym szkołę doktorską:
    1) na podstawie umowy o pracę;
    2) z wynagrodzeniem, którego wysokość przekracza wysokość wynagrodzenia profesora.
  3. Łączny okres otrzymywania stypendium doktoranckiego w szkołach doktorskich nie może przekroczyć 4 lat.
  4. Wysokość miesięcznego stypendium doktoranckiego w Szkole Doktorskiej UR wynosi:
    1. 37% wynagrodzenia profesora – do miesiąca, w którym została przeprowadzona ocena śródokresowa (ocena śródokresowa przeprowadzana jest w czwartym semestrze kształcenia), tj. 3 466,90 zł brutto pomniejszone o obowiązkową składkę emerytalną i rentową;
    2. 57% wynagrodzenia profesora – po miesiącu, w którym została przeprowadzona ocena śródokresowa, tj. 5 340,90 zł brutto pomniejszone o obowiązkową składkę emerytalną i rentową.
  5. Doktorant/ka posiadający/a orzeczenie o niepełnosprawności, orzeczenie o stopniu niepełnosprawności albo orzeczenie, o którym mowa w art. 5 oraz art. 62 ustawy z dnia 27 sierpnia 1997 r. o rehabilitacji zawodowej i społecznej oraz zatrudnianiu osób niepełnosprawnych, otrzymuje stypendium doktoranckie w wysokości zwiększonej o 30% kwoty wskazanej w ust. 4 lit. a (aby otrzymać zwiększone stypendium doktoranckie, należy dostarczyć aktualne orzeczenie o niepełnosprawności):
    1. do miesiąca, w którym została przeprowadzona ocena śródokresowa, tj. 4 506,97 zł brutto pomniejszone o obowiązkową składkę emerytalną i rentową;
    2. po miesiącu, w którym została przeprowadzona ocena śródokresowa, tj. 6 380,97 zł brutto pomniejszone o obowiązkową składkę emerytalną i rentową.
  6. Stypendium doktoranckie jest nieopodatkowane.
  7. W okresie zawieszenia kształcenia do ustalenia wysokości stypendium doktoranckiego stosuje się odpowiednio przepisy dotyczące ustalania zasiłku macierzyńskiego, z tym że przez podstawę wymiaru zasiłku rozumie się wysokość miesięcznego stypendium doktoranckiego, o której mowa w ust. 4, przysługującego w dniu złożenia wniosku o zawieszenie. Okresu zawieszenia nie wlicza się do łącznego okresu otrzymywania stypendium doktoranckiego w szkołach doktorskich, który nie może przekroczyć 4 lat.
  8. Doktorant/ka, który/a złożył/a rozprawę doktorską w terminie wcześniejszym niż termin ukończenia kształcenia przewidziany w programie kształcenia, otrzymuje stypendium doktoranckie do dnia, w którym upływa termin ukończenia kształcenia, jednak nie dłużej niż przez 6 miesięcy. Przepis ust. 3 stosuje się.
  9. Stypendium doktoranckie wypłaca podmiot prowadzący szkołę doktorską.
  10. Doktoranci otrzymujący stypendium doktoranckie zostają zgłoszeni do ZUS i podlegają obowiązkowo ubezpieczeniom: emerytalnemu, rentowemu, wypadkowemu oraz dobrowolnie ubezpieczeniu chorobowemu.
  11. Doktoranci Szkoły Doktorskiej UR zobowiązani są do:
    • złożenia oświadczenia do celów ZUS (długie; zgłoszenie do ubezpieczeń) - niezwłocznie po rozpoczęciu kształcenia w Szkole Doktorskiej UR;
    • składania comiesięcznych oświadczeń do celów ZUS (krótkie; kontynuacja ubezpieczeń);
    • złożenia oświadczenia do celów ZUS (długie; zmiana sytuacji doktoranta/ki) - do 7 dni od daty zaistniałej zmiany.

  1. Each Ph.D. student, who does not hold a doctoral degree, receives a scholarship in the minimum amount set by law.
  2. A doctoral scholarship is not available to a doctoral student whose education at a doctoral school is associated with the obligation to be employed at an entity running a doctoral school:
    1) based on an employment contract;
    2) with a salary that exceeds the professor's salary.
  3. The total period of receiving a doctoral scholarship at doctoral schools shall not exceed 4 years.
  4. The statutory (monthly) scholarship amounts are:
    1. 37% of a professor's salary - up to the month of the mid-term evaluation (mid-term evaluation is carried out in the fourth semester), that is: PLN 3 466,90 gross minus compulsory pension and disability pension contribution;
    2. 57% of a professor's salary - after a positive mid-term evaluation, that is: PLN 5 340,90 gross minus compulsory pension and disability pension contribution.
  5. PhD students with a valid disability certificate receive a doctoral scholarship increased by 30% in relation to the minimum amount indicated in paragraph 4 letter a (in order to receive an increased doctoral scholarship, a valid certificate of disability must be provided):
    1. up to the month of the mid-term evaluation, that is: PLN 4 506,97 gross minus compulsory pension and disability pension contribution;
    2. after a positive mid-term evaluation, that is: PLN 6 380,97 gross minus compulsory pension and disability pension contribution.
  6. The doctoral scholarship is not taxed.
  7. During the suspension of education to determine the amount of the doctoral scholarship, the provisions on determining the maternity allowance shall apply accordingly. The basis for the allowance shall be understood as the amount of the monthly doctoral scholarship referred to in para. 4, available on the date of submission of the request for suspension. The suspension period is not included in the total period of receiving a doctoral scholarship at doctoral schools, which may not exceed 4 years.
  8. Ph.D. students who submit their doctoral dissertation earlier than the date of completion of education provided for in the curriculum, receive a doctoral scholarship by the date on which the deadline for completing education expires, but not longer than for 6 months. The regulation of paragraph 3 applies.
  9. The doctoral scholarship is paid by the entity running the doctoral school.
  10. Ph.D. students receiving a doctoral scholarship are reported to the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) and are subject to compulsory insurance: pension insurance, disability insurance, accident, insurance and voluntary medical insurance.
  11. Ph.D. students are obliged to:
    • submitting the statement for ZUS purposes (long; application for insurance) - immediately after starting education at the UR Doctoral School;
    • submitting monthly statements for ZUS purposes (short; continuation of insurance);
    • submitting the statement for ZUS purposes (long; change of the Ph.D. student's situation) - up to 7 days from the date of the change.
