Opis tematu badawczego / Description of the research topic

W zakresie doktryn polityczno-prawnych, badania prowadzone są wokół następujących zagadnień: ideowe podstawy współczesnego konstytucjonalizmu, myśl polityczno-prawna krajów Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej, teorie elit oraz rewizjonizm i doktryny antykomunistyczne. Ponadto korelacje pomiędzy teoretyczno-prawną charakterystyką zasad prawa a praktyką prawniczą, zwłaszcza orzecznictwem oraz wpływem pozaprawnych porządków normatywnych (np. moralność, religia, obyczaj) na proces tworzenia i stosowania prawa. Z kolei odnośnie do prawa rzymskiego tematyka badan obejmuje rzymskie prawo prywatne, rzymskie prawo publiczne, tradycja prawa rzymskiego.

In the field of political-legal doctrines, research is conducted around the following issues: ideological foundations of contemporary constitutionalism, political-legal thought of Central and Eastern European countries, theories of elites and revisionism and anti-communist doctrines. In addition, the correlations between the theoretical and legal characteristics of legal principles and legal practice, especially jurisprudence, and the influence of extra-legal normative orders (e.g. morality, religion, custom) on the process of creating and applying law. With regard to Roman law, the topics studied include Roman private law, Roman public law and the tradition of Roman law.

Kandydat/ka do Szkoły Doktorskiej prowadzonej przez Uniwersytet Rzeszowski posiada aktualną wiedzę w zakresie dyscypliny nauki prawne, umie posługiwać się specjalistyczną terminologią prawniczą, w tym w języku obcym. Zna metodologię badań, potrafi przygotować publikację artykułów naukowych, przygotować i prezentować referaty naukowe podczas konferencji naukowych krajowych i międzynarodowych, planować i realizować indywidualne i zespołowe przedsięwzięcia badawcze. Kandydat ma również świadomość konieczności współpracy z otoczeniem gospodarczym lub społecznym. Kandydat ma świadomość etosu środowiska naukowego oraz odznacza się znajomością obowiązujących zasad etycznych w realizacji prac naukowych, a także regulacji prawnych w zakresie ochrony własności intelektualnej.

A candidate for the Doctoral School conducted by the University of Rzeszów has up-to-date knowledge in the discipline of legal sciences, is able to use specialised legal terminology, including in a foreign language. He/she knows the methodology of research, is able to prepare the publication of scientific articles, prepare and present scientific papers during national and international scientific conferences, plan and implement individual and team research projects. The candidate is also aware of the need to cooperate with the economic or social environment. The candidate is aware of the ethos of the scientific community and has knowledge of the applicable ethical principles in the execution of scientific work, as well as the legal regulations for the protection of intellectual property.
