Student Ombudsperson
Wiktoria Bednarz, a third-year law student at the Faculty of Law and Administration, serves as the Student Ombudsperson at the University of Rzeszów.
Her mission is to safeguard the rights of students and provide support in matters related to the course of studies. Students experiencing difficulties or seeking assistance are encouraged to reach out.
Responsibilities
In accordance with §55 of the Regulations of the Student Union of the University of Rzeszów (dated 7 November 2019), the Student Ombudsperson is responsible for:
- Receiving complaints, requests, and inquiries from students in written, electronic, or oral form.
- Organizing legal assistance related to academic matters.
- Educating students about their rights and responsibilities through training, lectures, and social media.
- Ensuring that student rights are respected across the University.
- Providing opinions on draft legislation concerning student rights.
