The museum’s collection comprises approximately 7,000 exhibits, encompassing memorabilia related to the history of the University of Rzeszów as well as three other higher education institutions: the Rzeszów Branch of the Agricultural University in Kraków, the Rzeszów Branch of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, and the Rzeszów Pedagogical University.

In addition, the museum houses artifacts documenting academic life in the contemporary Podkarpacie region and selected pieces of art. A significant portion of the collection originates from the former Museum of Education and includes materials gathered by academic personnel from the Faculty of Education and Philosophy and participants of the University of Rzeszów’s University of the Third Age. Among these are books dating back to the 19th and early 20th centuries.

The museum welcomes visitors between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Visits outside these hours may be arranged by prior telephone appointment.
