Erasmus+ Students Welcome Meeting

A welcome meeting for Erasmus+ students at the University of Rzeszów took place on October 22, 2025 . The event began with a speech by the Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation, Professor Jolanta Szempruch, who welcomed the guests and wished them a fruitful stay, lasting friendships, and encouraged them to actively participate in the academic and cultural life of the university. The students listened to practical tips regarding academic life and an inspiring lecture on intercultural differences delivered by Professor Mariana Sokol.

They were also introduced to a range of classes and excursions prepared especially for Erasmus+ participants. The students could learn about various integration activities as well as cultural events and trips designed to help them better get to know the region and Polish culture.

After the official part of the event, the participants took a campus tour, during which they got acquainted with the most important buildings and places related to academic life. The day concluded with participation in the Adaptation Workshop, which promoted integration and the exchange of experiences among students of different nationalities.

We hope everyone had a wonderful time, especially during the joint activities with members of the English Society student club, who enthusiastically joined in welcoming their new colleagues.
