Recruitment of PhD students for the artistic internships program

The Director of the Doctoral School at the University of Rzeszów announces the call for exit applications in the competitive mode within the framework of the program of artistic internships (artistic residencies) - action: Support for foreign mobility of the best doctoral students from Poland and abroad, within the framework of the Project “UR an international PhD student” (BPI/STE/2023/1/00001/DEC/01 dated 19.10.2023).

The offer is aimed at doctoral students studying at the UR Doctoral School within the artistic disciplines, who have passed the first semester of training

Number of funded art internships available for 2025: 1

Application deadline: until February 7, 2025 (by 3 pm)

Place of application: the secretariat of the UR Doctoral School (35-310 Rzeszów, Profesora Stanisława Pigonia St. 1, building AO, wing B2, room 159).

Announcement of competition results: by February 28, 2025.

If the limit of offered internships is not exhausted, subsequent deadlines and adjudication will be held according to the following dates:

  • application deadline: by March 17, 2025 (by 3 pm); announcement of competition results: by March 31, 2025.
  • application deadline: by April 15, 2025 (by 3 pm); announcement of competition results: by April 30, 2025.

Requirements:

The doctoral student is required to submit by the deadline announced in the competition:

  • a complete trip application in accordance with the model specified in Appendix 1 to the Regulations,
  • an invitation from a foreign center for the internship - sample invitation template,
  • Appendix No. 8 to the Regulations - the Project Participant's statement regarding RODO NAWA personal data,
  • Appendix No. 9 to the Regulations - additional consent of the Project Participant for processing of personal data.

The complete trip application must include:

  • the scientific program of the internship, in which the Doctoral Student will present the scope of work to be carried out, declare the relevance of the research carried out in the foreign center and its direct relation to the individual research plan or educational program,
  • the assumed results obtained by the Doctoral Student through the realization of the internship, in which the Doctoral Student:
    • will indicate the benefits that the internship will bring to him and to the home unit,
    • will indicate whether and how the internship will contribute to the establishment or continuation of cooperation,
  • research or artistic achievements of the leader of the research team in which the internship will be carried out,
  • a minimum of 1 scientific or artistic achievement and a maximum of 4 scientific or artistic achievements of the Doctoral Student from the period of training at the UR Doctoral School,
  • opinion and consent of the supervisor(s) for the internship.

The application for foreign mobility support is submitted by the Doctoral Student.

Each application must be signed by the applicant and approved by the signature of his/her supervisor(s).

Completion of applications after the deadline will not be possible.

Internship period: one month - the definition of a month is governed by the provisions of the Civil Code (Title V “Deadlines”) with particular reference to Articles 112 and 113.

Maximum amount allocated for internship: PLN 12,000.00 per month + PLN 3,000.00 travel expenses (Note: costs depend on the place of internship)

Deadline for settlement of internship: up to 30 calendar days after completion of internship; no later than December 31, 2025.
