Position: foreign PhD student - scholarship holder of the STER NAWA Program - internationalization of doctoral schools as part of the project "UR an international PhD student"

Recruitment in disciplines: recruitment may take place within the fields of science and art for individual disciplines - archaeology, biotechnology, economics and finance, philosophy, history, information and communication technology, materials engineering, linguistics, literary studies, mathematics, biological sciences, physical sciences, medical sciences, physical culture sciences, political and administrative sciences, health sciences, sociology, law,  education, agriculture and horticulture, food and nutrition technology and artistic disciplines: music, fine arts and art conservation - in accordance with the decision of the Rector on the launch of education at the Doctoral School for the academic year 2025/2026, at the request of the Dean of the Faculty representing the scientific or artistic discipline, with the opinion of the relevant Disciplinary Council/s

Amount of the doctoral scholarship (gross gross) during the project duration: PLN 5,000/month (approximately EUR 1,162/month)

Period of receiving the doctoral scholarship during the project: 15 months (01/10/2025 - 31/12/2026)

Maximum period of receiving a doctoral scholarship after the project duration: 33 months (01/01/2027 - 30/09/2029)

Requirements:

• foreign candidate;
• the candidate is obliged to join the recruitment procedure for the UR Doctoral School based on the adopted recruitment criteria in accordance with the applicable recruitment resolution - recruitment 2025/2026 on general terms;
• if several candidates receive the same number of points during the recruitment process in different disciplines, the scholarship is awarded to the candidate who received a higher number of points obtained in the recruitment process to the UR Doctoral School for the candidate's scientific or artistic achievements;
• the candidate is obliged to submit the signed attachments required by NAWA, listed in §6 of the Regulations of the scholarship program for the best foreign doctoral students studying at the Doctoral School at the University of Rzeszów as part of the "UR an international PhD student" Project (decision of the Director of NAWA no. BPI/STE/2023 /1/00001/DEC/01 of October 19, 2023) in accordance with the assumptions of the NAWA STER Program - internationalization of doctoral schools;
• the final decision on the admission of the candidate is made by the UR Rector in consultation with the Director of the UR Doctoral School, based on documents from the recruitment procedure of the recruitment committees in the disciplines.
