Admissions commitees
- Recruitment to the Doctoral School is conducted by Recruitment Committees appointed by the Director of the Doctoral School.
- Doctoral School appoints five Recruitment Committees within the following fields of science and arts:
a. the field of humanities - for the scientific disciplines: archaeology, philosophy, history, linguistics, literary studies;
b. the field of engineering and technology, agricultural sciences, natural sciences - for scientific disciplines: information and communication technology, material engineering, agriculture and horticulture, food and nutrition technology, biotechnology, mathematics, biological sciences, physical sciences;
c. the field of medical and health sciences - for scientific disciplines: medical sciences, physical culture sciences, health sciences;
d. the field of social sciences - for scientific disciplines: economics and finance, political and administrative sciences, law, sociology, education;
e. the field of arts - for artistic disciplines: music, fine arts and art conservation.
- Members of the Recruitment Committees are nominated by the Deans of the Faculties of the UR representing a given scientific or artistic discipline in which the University has the right to confer the doctoral degree, after the opinion of the Discipline Council(s).
- The Recruitment Committee shall consist of no less than six and no more than twenty-four committee members - University academic staff holding at least a post-doctoral degree and representing a given scientific or artistic discipline within a given Recruitment Committee.
- There must be an equal number of Committee members representing different scientific or artistic disciplines within a given Recruitment Committee.
- The Recruitment Committee selects from among themselves the Chair of the Recruitment Committee, the Deputy Chair of the Recruitment Committee and the Secretary of the Recruitment Committee.
- The composition of the Recruitment Committees will be announced at a later date.
