Individual Research Plan Change

Doctoral candidate's Individual Research Plan (IRP) may be changed at the request of the doctoral candidate after the midterm evaluation.

The request for a change in the IRP is submitted by the doctoral candidate through the Head of Doctoral School.

The doctoral candidate is obliged to attach to the application:

  • IRP with the changes, together with the approval of the supervisor(s) and the assistant supervisor (if appointed);
  • opinion(s) of the supervisor(s) and the assistant supervisor (if appointed) on the amended IRP.

The doctoral candidate’s IRP is approved by Doctoral School Council after receiving an opinion from the council of the discipline appropriate for the doctoral candidate.

In the event of the doctoral candidate’s change of the supervisor or supervisors, the doctoral candidate shall continue the IRP under the scientific supervision of a new supervisor or supervisors, or he/she submits a request for a change of the IRP.
