Individual Research Plan Change

The doctoral student's Individual Research Plan (IRP) may be changed at the request of the doctoral student after the midterm evaluation.

The request for a change in the IRP is submitted by the doctoral student through the Head of the UR Doctoral School.

The doctoral student is obliged to attach to the application:

• IRP with the changes, together with the approval of the supervisor(s) and the assistant supervisor (if appointed);
• opinion(s) of the supervisor(s) and the assistant supervisor (if appointed) on the amended IRP.

The doctoral student’s IRP is approved by the Council of the UR Doctoral School after receiving an opinion from the council of the discipline appropriate for the doctoral student.

In the event of the doctoral student’s change of the supervisor or supervisors, the doctoral student shall continue the IRP under the scientific supervision of a new supervisor or supervisors, or he/she submits a request for a change of the IRP.
