On 10 June 2025, a special meeting took place in the office of His Magnificence the Rector of the University of Rzeszów, Professor Adam Reich with the participation of the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Professor Marek Gzik.

The visit provided an opportunity for discussions on the directions for the development of higher education and the possibilities of supporting the scientific and research activities of the University of Rzeszów. During the meeting, Professor Marek Gzik signed the Guest Book of the University of Rzeszów. The discussions focused, among other things, on the possibilities of supporting the University's scientific and research activities, the innovative potential of the institution, and the need to adapt the educational offer to the challenges of the modern labour market.

The event was also attended by representatives of the national government: Member of the Polish Parliament Krystyna Skowrońska and Member of the Polish Parliament Joanna Frydrych. The presence of the parliamentarians underscored the importance of the visit for fostering cooperation between the academic community and the political and administrative spheres.
