UR AI SUMMIT 2026. The University of Rzeszów once again hosted discussions on AI

On 12–13 May 2026, the University of Rzeszów is hosting the UR AI Summit 2026: Next-Generation Artificial Intelligence for Law, Science, Innovation and Society. The event is taking place in Building A0 at 1 Pigonia Street and brings together representatives of the academic community, industry experts, practitioners, innovation leaders and representatives of the public sector interested in the development and applications of artificial intelligence.

The conference was officially opened by His Magnificence the Rector of the University of Rzeszów, Prof. Adam Reich, MD, PhD. The Provincial Labour Office was represented by Mateusz Szpyrka, Deputy Director of the Provincial Labour Office in Rzeszów. Immediately following the opening ceremony, a plenary session began, focusing on the most significant challenges and directions for the development of modern artificial intelligence.

During the first part of the plenary session, participants had the opportunity to hear presentations on topics including the role of Big Data and AI in social and economic development, the development of Poland’s artificial intelligence ecosystem, and the development of Polish AI models. The conference programme includes numerous presentations, panel discussions and workshops on the use of artificial intelligence in law, education, business, cybersecurity and science. The event also addresses issues related to AI regulation, personal data protection, digital transformation and the impact of new technologies on contemporary society.

On the second day of the conference, practical workshops will be held on topics including the use of generative AI in higher education and cybersecurity in the age of artificial intelligence.

The event is organised by the Provincial Labour Office in Rzeszów, whilst the University of Rzeszów acts as the conference’s content partner.

The UR AI Summit 2026 provides a forum for the exchange of experiences and knowledge between academia, public administration and the new technologies sector, highlighting the importance of interdisciplinary cooperation in the development of modern solutions based on artificial intelligence.
