On Monday, December 3, a cooperation agreement between the University of Rzeszów and Polish Radio Rzeszów was signed at the headquarters of Polish Radio Rzeszów. This is an important step that officially confirms and strengthens the relations developed over many years between the two institutions.

The cooperation agreement was signed by:

Prof. Janusz Pasterski, Vice-Rector of the University of Rzeszów for Cooperation with the Social and Economic Environment
Dr. Agnieszka Myszka, Prof. of the University of Rzeszów, Dean of the Faculty of Philology of the University of Rzeszów
Jakub Osika, President of Polish Radio Rzeszów
Thanks to this agreement, the University of Rzeszów and Polish Radio Rzeszów are joining forces to create even broader development opportunities for the academic community. A particularly important beneficiary of this cooperation will be the UR Academic Media Center, which will gain access to professional facilities, experience, and support from media industry specialists.

The new media space at the University of Rzeszów is a place for all students interested in journalism. Importantly, the project is not only aimed at those studying journalism and social communication – what counts most is passion, creativity, and a desire to acquire new skills.

As part of the cooperation, students will be able to:

• gain practical experience in working with the media,
• develop and improve their skills,
• learn about the inner workings of professional editorial offices.

The signed agreement is just the beginning of many joint activities, but it is already clear that new opportunities are opening up for the University of Rzeszów and Polish Radio Rzeszów.
