The University of Rzeszów marks the 25th anniversary of its medical programmes

Last week, the University of Rzeszów solemnly celebrated the 25th anniversary of its medical programmes. The main event concluded with a gala at the Podkarpackie Philharmonic, which featured the fifth graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Medicine. The celebration was attended by representatives of state and local authorities, rectors of medical universities from across Poland, academic staff, students, and alumni.

Three days of anniversary celebrations

The festivities began on Wednesday, 17 September, with the Conference of Rectors of Academic Medical Universities (KRAUM). On Thursday, 18 September, the University of Rzeszów hosted the opening of the exhibition “Faces of Support in Illness” and signed a partnership agreement between the Medical College of the University of Rzeszów and the Nutricia Foundation. On the same day, the central anniversary ceremony took place at the Podkarpackie Philharmonic – it included addresses delivered by representatives of the University’s authorities, honours awarded to distinguished staff members, and a concert by the Medical College Choir together with the Faculty of Music of the University of Rzeszów.
