On 16th June 2025, a cooperation agreement was signed between the University of Rzeszów and the Tax Administration Chamber in Rzeszów. The signing ceremony took place in the office of the Rector of the University of Rzeszów. The agreement was signed by His Magnificence the Rector, Professor Adam Reich, and the Director of the Tax Administration Chamber in Rzeszów, Superintendent Krzysztof Basak.

The framework agreement provides for a partnership-based collaboration between the two institutions in the joint implementation of scientific, educational, and social initiatives. The aim is not only to support institutional development, but also to create conditions conducive to the comprehensive advancement of the region and the cultivation of civic and patriotic values among students and residents of the Podkarpackie region.

Planned areas of cooperation include:

• implementation of joint scientific research and educational projects,
• organisation of conferences, debates, seminars, and events of a social and cultural nature,
• promotion of internships, placements, and employment opportunities in the National Revenue Administration among UR students and graduates,
• making use of the University’s expert potential by the Tax Administration Chamber,
• joint information and educational activities in the fields of public safety, the rule of law, and civic awareness.
