On 28 July 2025, the University of Rzeszów and the Podkarpackie Agricultural Advisory Centre (PODR) in Boguchwała signed a cooperation agreement aimed at supporting activities that foster regional development, education, science, and the promotion of sustainable agriculture and ecology.

The agreement was signed by Professor Adam Reich, Rector of the University of Rzeszów, and Mr Zbigniew Micał, Director of PODR.

The collaboration encompasses a broad range of initiatives, including:

• support for scientific and educational initiatives, including research and implementation projects in agriculture, the agri-food sector, and ecology,
• organisation of conferences, seminars, internships, and work placements for University students,
• promotion of the achievements of both institutions and building their positive image within the region,
• joint organisation of knowledge-sharing events such as open days, demonstrations, and fairs.

The agreement also provides for the exchange of informational and scientific materials, and cooperation in the creation of publications and analyses related to agriculture and rural development.

This partnership opens new opportunities for students of the University of Rzeszów, particularly those studying disciplines related to agriculture, environmental protection, and the natural sciences. Thanks to the collaboration with PODR, they will be able to gain practical experience through internships and placements, participate in industry events, and engage in scientific and educational projects.
