On 25 March 2026, the University of Rzeszów hosted one of the most important events aimed at prospective students – the University of Rzeszów Open Day, combined with the 17th University Job Fair.

The event attracted considerable interest from young people, who visited the University in large numbers to find out about the institution’s educational offerings and see what everyday academic life is like at the University of Rzeszów. A rich programme awaited visitors, including presentations of degree programmes, meetings with students and lecturers, as well as the opportunity to tour the campus.

Lectures and workshops organised in the ‘lessons with a difference’ format proved particularly popular. This was an opportunity to engage with various fields of study in a practical and interactive way and to see what teaching at an academic level looks like. Participants were able to ask questions, take part in experiments and discussions, which allowed them to better understand the specific nature of their chosen courses.

An integral part of the event was the 17th University Job Fair. Stands run by numerous companies and institutions attracted the attention of young people interested in their future careers. Students had the opportunity to explore job offers, work placements and internships, as well as to speak directly with employer representatives. For many participants, this was their first chance to gain valuable insights into the job market and employers’ expectations.
