On December 23, 2025, a cooperation agreement between the University of Rzeszów and the Municipality of Trzebownisko was signed at the University of Rzeszów. The document was signed by Prof. Adam Reich, PhD, Rector of the University of Rzeszów, and Sławomir Porada, PhD, Mayor of the Municipality of Trzebownisko.

The signed agreement concerns the development of joint activities related to the sports and recreational development of areas in the Trzebownisko Commune. Its aim is to create modern, functional, and attractive spaces conducive to physical activity, recreation, and social integration of residents.

The cooperation involves undertaking initiatives that will respond to the needs of the local community, while taking into account the natural, landscape, cultural, and social conditions of the commune. The parties declare their intention to jointly develop and prepare projects covering spatial, functional, and compositional solutions, as well as to disseminate information about the projects being implemented.

A particularly important element of the agreement is close cooperation with the Landscape Architecture program offered by the Faculty of Technology and Natural Sciences at the University of Rzeszów. It is within this program that the university's scientific and teaching potential, including the knowledge and experience of academic staff and students, will be involved in the process of planning and designing sports and recreation areas. This cooperation will create an opportunity to combine theory with practice and to implement projects of real social significance.
