The University of Rzeszów and Monash University have signed a letter of intent regarding cooperation in the field of modern medical imaging
On February 10, 2025, the University of Rzeszów signed a letter of intent with Monash University (Australia) concerning further scientific and research cooperation in the field of medical imaging, in particular MR-PET hybrid technology. The document is a continuation of the existing joint activities of both universities.
The letter of intent defines the main areas of planned cooperation, including in particular:
the development of scientific and technical expertise in medical imaging, including hybrid magnetic resonance and positron emission tomography (MR-PET) technology,
- exchange of scientific staff in order to deepen knowledge and experience in the field of medical imaging, including ultra-high-field fMRI,
- development of training facilities for doctoral students conducting research in the field of MR-PET technology and applications,
- joint and independent applications for funding for research projects,
- undertaking other jointly agreed scientific activities
The conclusion of the document confirms the strategic importance of international cooperation for the University of Rzeszów and strengthens its position in the field of advanced research on modern medical imaging technologies.
