The Rector of the University of Rzeszów, Prof. Adam Reich, MD, PhD, has been honoured with the title of winner of the 4th “Personality of the Year 2025” poll in the Higher Education category.

The award recognises his commitment to social engagement and his role in initiating and supporting initiatives aimed at developing the academic community. The jury also commended his consistent efforts in fostering attitudes based on social responsibility and his active presence in the region’s public life.

The award ceremony took place on 24 April in the Rector’s office at the University of Rzeszów. The award was presented by Jacek Sokołowski, Chairman of the Board of the Foundation and of Rubin Investments Sp. z o.o., on behalf of the IPiRG Foundation. The meeting was also attended by Joanna Frydrych, Member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland.

The award highlights the significance of the initiatives undertaken by the Rector of the University of Rzeszów and their impact on the development of the academic and local communities.
