The establishment of the International Centre for Chinese Culture and Language is the result of the consistently developing cooperation between the University of Rzeszów and universities and institutions in the People’s Republic of China. In recent years, representatives of our University have repeatedly taken part in meetings and working visits to China, which have resulted in the signing of agreements covering academic and teaching cooperation, as well as student and staff exchanges. Of particular significance were the agreements concluded with Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, which provided for the establishment of the International Centre for Chinese Language Education, the centre being opened today is a further development of that initiative.
The opening of the International Centre for Chinese Culture and Language marks another important step in the implementation of the university’s internationalisation strategy. The University of Rzeszów is consistently developing its cooperation with international partners, creating a space for the international exchange of knowledge, experiences and values, emphasised His Magnificence the Rector of the University of Rzeszów, Prof. Adam Reich.
