Success of a Researcher from the University of Rzeszów – La Roche-Posay Research Grant 2025

We are delighted to announce that a research project carried out at the University of Rzeszów has been awarded the prestigious La Roche-Posay Research Grant 2025 for the European region.

The laureate of the award is Dr Agnieszka Kaczmarska-Such, whose project entitled
“No pain is a gain – understanding the impact of pain in skin diseases with intense pruritus” was selected from among 218 applications worldwide.

The international jury recognised both the innovative character of the research and its great potential to improve the quality of life of patients suffering from chronic pain and pruritus associated with skin diseases.

Financial support and significance of the project

The grant of €20,000 provides substantial support for the continuation of the project and research in the field of dermatology. This award confirms the high quality of the research conducted at the University of Rzeszów as well as its international significance.

Award ceremony

The official presentation of the award will take place during the EADV Congress in Paris, at the La Roche-Posay booth. The exact date of the event will be confirmed shortly by the organisers.
