Both students qualified for the national finals through regional rounds organised by the Centre for Polish Diaspora Studies at the University of Rzeszów.

The central stage of the Olympiad brought together students from 11 academic centres across Poland, including such prestigious institutions as the Jagiellonian University, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, University of Silesia, University of Wrocław, Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, AGH University of Krakow, and Wrocław University of Science and Technology.

"These are large academic centres with numerous foreign students, which makes the success of our students all the more gratifying. We wholeheartedly congratulate them on their outstanding achievement," said Dr Małgorzata Kułakowska, Director of the Centre for Polish Diaspora Studies at the University of Rzeszów.
