“Share a Book” – a New Initiative at the University of Rzeszów
Special “Share a Book” shelves have appeared in the buildings of the University of Rzeszów – new spaces where every student can exchange books and discover new titles. The initiative aims to promote reading, foster a culture of sharing, and make literature more accessible to the academic community.
How does it work? It’s simple:
- Take a book – if something catches your eye, feel free to take it with you.
- Leave a book – if you have a title at home that you’ve already read, share it with others.
No formalities are required – all it takes is goodwill and a willingness to share literature.
The “Share a Book” campaign is a wonderful opportunity to discover new titles and authors – completely free of charge. The mutual exchange of books encourages students to share inspiration and reflections, creating a space for dialogue and integration. It also supports the eco-friendly idea of reusing books, giving them a second life. Through this initiative, a community of readers is formed – one in which everyone can contribute: a favourite story, an inspiring read, or simply a passion for books.
We invite all students, staff, and friends of the University of Rzeszów to make use of the “Share a Book” shelves. Let every book find a new reader – and every new story reach new hands!
