On March 3, 2026, another safety training session dedicated to the academic community of the University of Rzeszów is taking place in the St. Jadwiga Królowa Hall (building A1 of the University of Rzeszów). The meeting was conducted by officers from the Internal Security Agency Delegation in Rzeszów.

The event is part of a cyclical initiative of the University of Rzeszów, in which employees regularly participate in specialized training courses on broadly understood security. Such activities are organized in cooperation with representatives of all services responsible for state security. This time, the training was conducted by representatives of the Internal Security Agency.

The aim of the meeting is to broaden the knowledge and strengthen the competence of employees in the field of protection of resources and other assets of the University of Rzeszów. The issues discussed were of particular importance in the context of the current geopolitical situation, the growing threats related to the war in Ukraine, and the intensifying hybrid activities, including those in cyberspace.

The training covered the following topics:

  • cover and counterintelligence prevention, with particular emphasis on contacts and relations with the external environment,
  • terrorist threats and how to counter them,
  • cyber threats and how to protect against them.

Participation in the training enables better preparation of organizational units, officials, and employees of the University to respond appropriately in situations of potential threats. The event contributed to further strengthening the security of the entire academic community.
