Record interest in places at the University of Rzeszów. Nearly 43% more applications than last year

The first round of admissions to the University of Rzeszów saw record levels of interest from applicants. The Online Applicant Registration System recorded 26,633 applications, of which 24,591 were paid for. This represents an increase of nearly 43 per cent and over 42 per cent, respectively, compared with the same period last year.

This year’s results confirm the University of Rzeszów’s growing standing as one of the most popular universities in south-eastern Poland. Compared with last year, when 18,646 applications were recorded (including 17,311 paid for), the number of applications has risen significantly.

The most popular courses were:

 

Medicine (full-time degree programme) – 3,033 applicants

Psychology (integrated Master’s degree programme) – 1,297 applicants

Physiotherapy (integrated Master’s degree programme) – 1,260 applicants

Nursing (first-cycle degree) – 1,249 applicants

Law (integrated Master’s degree) – 1,124 applicants

English Language and Literature (first-cycle degree) – 896 applicants

Finance and Accounting (first-cycle degree) – 722 applicants

Medicine (part-time programme) – 708 applicants

Internal Security (first-cycle programme) – 621 applicants

Medical Analytics (integrated Master’s programme) – 600 applicants

 

The highest ratio of applicants per place was recorded in the following programmes:

 

Medicine (full-time) – 26 applicants per place

Medicine (part-time) – 16 applicants per place

Physiotherapy – 14 applicants per place

Psychology – 12 applicants per place

Nursing – 12 applicants per place

Medical Analysis – 11 applicants per place

Applied Linguistics – 11 applicants per place

Electroradiology – 10 applicants per place
