Project by Associate Professor Marta Kopańska Awarded Funding under the MINIATURA 9 Call
The National Science Centre (NSC) has announced the results of the MINIATURA 9 call – a prestigious programme designed to support preliminary scientific activities aimed at preparing research proposals for future NSC calls or other research funding agencies.
We are delighted to announce that Associate Professor Marta Kopańska, MD has been awarded funding under this scheme.
Project title:
“The use of quantitative electroencephalography analysis in developing a preliminary brain wave model in patients with generalised anxiety disorder”
The aim of the project is to initiate research on the potential application of quantitative EEG (qEEG) in creating a model of brain activity patterns characteristic of individuals with generalised anxiety disorder. The project is pilot in nature and represents a significant step towards the development of non-invasive diagnostic methods in psychiatry and neuropsychology.
We extend our sincere congratulations to Professor Kopańska on receiving this funding and wish her every success in carrying out this important research initiative.
