On 21 October 2025, a letter of intent on cooperation was signed in Rzeszów between the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Rzeszów and the Subcarpathian Museum in Krosno.

The agreement was signed by His Magnificence, the Rector of the University of Rzeszów, Professor Adam Reich and Krzysztof Gierlach, Acting Director of the Subcarpathian Museum in Krosno.

The aim of the agreement is to develop joint activities in the fields of art, culture and education. The parties declared their cooperation in the following areas:

– organising artistic open-air sessions in the spaces of the Museum and its branch – the Carpathian Troy Archaeological Skansen in Trzcinica;
– staging happenings, exhibitions and cultural events;
– jointly preparing conferences and scholarly sessions popularising national heritage;
– running workshops, training and educational projects that support the development of competencies among students, graduates and Museum staff.

The signing of the letter of intent expresses the will of both institutions to build lasting cooperation for the promotion of culture and art, as well as the integration of the academic and museum communities of the Subcarpathian region.
