The Rector of the University of Rzeszów, Prof. Adam Reich, MD, PhD, held a meeting with Minister of Health Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda. Joanna Frydrych, Member of Parliament from Podkarpacie, also participated in the talks.

The main topic of the meeting was the prospects for the construction of a University Hospital in Świlcza as a strategic investment strengthening the teaching and clinical potential of the University of Rzeszów and the healthcare system in the region. The discussion focused on the importance of this initiative for the further development of medical staff training, in particular for students of medicine and other medical fields offered at the University.

The talks also concerned the development of clinical and research infrastructure. The role of the University of Rzeszów as an important academic center was emphasized, which, through the development of medical fields and infrastructure investments, responds to the growing health needs of society and demographic challenges.
