On 25 October 2025, the Concert Hall of the Faculty of Music hosted the formal INAUGURATION of the 2025/2026 academic year at MUR (Mały Uniwersytet Rzeszowski). MUR students took the matriculation oath before the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education, Professor Sabina Grabowska; the hymn “Gaudeamus igitur” resounded, and the first entry was made in the student record book.

The first LECTURE, prepared by the Faculty of Economics and Finance, was delivered by Dr Ewa Kubejko-Polańska and was entitled: “SMART CITY – INTELLIGENT CITIES AROUND THE WORLD”.

The safety of MUR participants was overseen by paramedics from the Medical college, and the excellent photographic documentation was prepared by Michał Święcicki.
