Welcome to the Museum of the University of Rzeszów!

The University of Rzeszów Museum invites you to its new location – the Gumiński Family Manor in Zalesie – for a series of diverse exhibitions that showcase the history of the region, local cultural heritage, and visual arts. One of them is an exhibition dedicated to the Gumiński family of the Rola coat of arms – owners of the estate in Zalesie and active participants in social and economic life, whose activities played an important role in the modernization of agriculture in Galicia and the Second Polish Republic.
Another exhibition presents the culture of the Lasowiaks – the people of the former Sandomierz Forest. The exhibition shows their everyday life, traditional costumes, embroidery, music, and rituals, emphasizing the strong connection of this community with nature and the forest landscape of northern Podkarpacie.
The program is complemented by exhibitions of posters from the René Wanner collection, dedicated to film premieres and musical events, as well as an exhibition of works by Rzeszów artists – gifts to the Museum of the University of Rzeszów.
The exhibitions presented create a multi-threaded story about history, tradition, and art, inviting visitors to discover the richness of local and supra-regional heritage.
