Faculty of Technology and Life Sciences Staff Serve as Experts in the “Urban Parks Matter” Project

Staff members of the Faculty of Technology and Life Sciences are serving as experts in the project “Urban Parks Matter – A New Approach to Urban Green Space Management in Ivano-Frankivsk and Rzeszów”, funded under the Interreg NEXT Poland–Ukraine 2021–2027 programme.

Dr Agata Gajdek, landscape architect, and Dr Anita Poradowska from the Landscape Architecture Studio have been appointed as experts in the initiative co-financed by Interreg NEXT Poland–Ukraine 2021–2027. The project aims to develop joint tools for the effective management of green infrastructure, with a focus on protecting natural heritage from environmental and anthropogenic threats.

Within the framework of the project, the partners – with the substantive support of the experts – are working towards the development of a Strategic Green Space Management Plan for Ivano-Frankivsk and Rzeszów. This plan will establish new standards, recommendations, and approaches for key stakeholders involved in both the operational and strategic management of the project’s target areas.
