On February 4, 2026, the Rector of the University of Rzeszów paid an official visit to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. During the visit, he met with Marek Gzik, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

The talks focused on issues related to the current and future cooperation between the University of Rzeszów and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Particular attention was paid to the directions of scientific development, strengthening the research potential of universities, and the challenges facing Polish higher education. The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views on the role of academic institutions in regional development, supporting innovation, and educating highly qualified personnel to meet the needs of the labor market and contemporary science.

The visit of the Rector of the University of Rzeszów to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education was an important element of activities aimed at the further development of the university and strengthening its position in the national and international academic community.
