On 8–9 September 2025, the Integrative Polish University Championships in Canoeing and Indoor Rowing took place in Wilkasy. The Office for Persons with Disabilities (BON) and the University Sports Association (AZS) of the University of Rzeszów were represented by two students: Martyna Sarzyńska (4th year, Medicine) and Michał Gorczyca (3rd year, Nursing). Both students were making their debut at this type of competition.

In the indoor rowing event, Martyna Sarzyńska won a silver medal, while Michał Gorczyca achieved an excellent fourth place. The athletes prepared for the championships during training sessions and a camp organised by the University’s BON, under the guidance of their coach, Dr Miłosz Szczudło.
