A Wonderful Evening of Music and Words
We are delighted to share the news of an exceptionally successful concert performed by our lecturer, Associate Professor Olga Boczar, on 25 May in Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland. The event was organised at the invitation of the Swiss Polish community and attracted a large and appreciative audience.
The recital featured original compositions set to the poetry of Julian Tuwim from Olga Boczar’s latest album Oddycham (I Breathe). A magical atmosphere, rich emotions, and moving sounds transported the audience into a unique world of music and poetry.
Olga Boczar performed alongside a Swiss jazz trio comprising Javier Leutenegger (piano), Andrew Dehner (double bass), and Loris Erdin (drums).
The event was not only an artistic experience, but also an inspiring blend of art and science. Before the recital, renowned Polish psychologist Katarzyna Miller delivered a lecture that captivated the audience and added a thoughtful dimension to the evening with insights into everyday psychology.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended this unforgettable event and helped make it so special. We are proud that our lecturer represents the University of Rzeszów so actively on the international stage—this time, in Switzerland.
