Uniwersytet Rzeszowski nawiązał współpracę z Loyola University Chicago (kopia)

The University of Rzeszów has signed a cooperation agreement with Loyola University Chicago regarding the clinical training of medical students. The agreement was concluded in March 2026 and sets out the rules governing the organisation of clinical placements and training in accordance with international standards of medical education.

The University of Rzeszów is currently the only university in Poland cooperating with Loyola University Chicago under this type of agreement. Establishing a partnership with a renowned American university represents an important step in the process of internationalising the University of Rzeszów’s teaching and research activities and strengthening the university’s position within the international academic community.

On 29 April 2026, a delegation from the University of Rzeszów, comprising the Rector of the University of Rzeszów, Prof. Adam Reich, and the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences and Psychology, Prof. Edyta Łuszczki, visited Loyola University Chicago during their stay in Chicago. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the details of the collaboration, its practical implementation and further opportunities for developing joint activities in the field of medical education and academic exchange.

The signed agreement opens up new opportunities for medical students, enabling them to gain clinical experience in an environment characterised by high teaching standards, modern infrastructure and collaboration with qualified medical staff. The agreement also covers issues relating to student safety, patient data protection, ethical standards and ensuring appropriate conditions for practical clinical training.

The partnership with Loyola University Chicago forms part of the University of Rzeszów’s strategic efforts to develop international partnerships, improve the quality of education and create opportunities for students to gain experience at renowned academic and medical centres abroad.
