On 12 March, the University of Rzeszów hosted Vasyl Bodnar, Ukraine’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Poland, Vasyl Jordan, Consul of Ukraine, and Aleksander Baczyk, Honorary Consul of Ukraine. The visit took place at the invitation of the Rector of the University of Rzeszów and was of a diplomatic nature.

During the meeting, issues relating to relations between Poland and Ukraine were discussed, as well as the importance of academic, scientific and educational cooperation between institutions in both countries. The talks also provided an opportunity to highlight the role of higher education institutions in fostering international dialogue and strengthening partnerships in the region.

The visit was also a symbolic moment – the Ambassador of Ukraine signed the Rector of the University of Rzeszów’s Commemorative Guest Book, leaving an entry commemorating the meeting and his visit to the university.

The meeting took place in an atmosphere of goodwill and mutual respect, highlighting the importance of cooperation and dialogue between the academic communities of Poland and Ukraine.
