10th Night of Biologists at the University of Rzeszów
On January 16, the Faculty of Biology, Nature Conservation, and Sustainable Development at the University of Rzeszów hosted the 10th anniversary edition of Biologists' Night. The event, which has become a permanent fixture in the science popularization calendar, enjoyed great interest as every year – participants flocked to the university to discover the fascinating world of biology together.
This year's Biologists' Night was held under the slogan “Biology full of signals - discover how life speaks.” The event program was full of popular science lectures, talks, workshops, laboratory demonstrations, and numerous educational attractions. All activities were prepared by researchers and students of the University of Rzeszów, who shared their knowledge with passion and commitment.
The event was aimed at a wide audience – children, schoolchildren, students, adults, and all enthusiasts of biological sciences. Participants had the opportunity not only to listen to inspiring lectures, but also to take part in experiments, observations, and workshops that explained the complex processes occurring in the natural world in an accessible way.
Biologists' Night has once again proven that biology is an extremely diverse and fascinating science, and that its topics can be of interest to everyone – from the youngest explorers, through primary and secondary school students, to adult science enthusiasts. The event became a space for learning, inspiration, and direct contact with science, showing how many “signals” life hides and how much we can learn from them.
