Rector

Professor Adam Reich, born in Zabrze, Poland, is a Full Professor and Head of the Department of Dermatology in Rzeszów. Since 2024, he has served as Rector of the University of Rzeszów. He is also a Board Member of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology,
Co-Chair of the EADV Pruritus Task Force, Vice-Chair of the Youth Forum of the Polish Dermatological Society, and Chair of the Subcarpathian Branch of the Polish Dermatological Society.

Professor Reich is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the European Society for Dermatology and Psychiatry (ESDaP), the European Society for Dermatological Research (ESDR), the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), the International Forum for the Study of Itch (IFSI), and the International Society of Dermatology (ISD).

He has authored or co-authored more than 250 original research articles, 150 review papers, and 100 case reports. His scientific achievements have been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Professor Otto Braun-Falco Scholarship and the Professor Zdzisław Ruszczak Award for his contributions to psoriasis research.
