On 21st October 2025, the Faculty of Exact and Technical Sciences hosted an event entitled “The Idea Zone of the University of Rzeszów.”

The Idea Zone of the University of Rzeszów is intended to be a space for creating a modern and inspiring environment that fosters collaboration, knowledge exchange, scientific and techno-scientific activity, as well as advisory and educational initiatives. It also serves as a hub for prototyping and implementing innovative projects within an ecosystem that connects academia, business, and local government.

During the event, brief presentations were delivered by:

• dr Paweł Wais – Director of the Department of Regional Development,

• Mr Mariusz Bednarz – President of the Management Board of Rzeszów Regional Development Agency,

• Mr Łukasz Gajdowski – President of the Management Board of Mielec Regional Development Agency,

• Mrs Timea Sulenta-Pluta – Program Director of Subcarpathian Innovation Center,

• dr hab. Grzegorz Wisz, prof. UR – Vice-Dean for External Relations and Faculty Outreach. 

The Idea Zone at the University of Rzeszów provided an opportunity to present the Dean’s Certificates of Recognition to the Faculty’s top graduates, as well as to acknowledge Faculty members for their contributions to the University’s promotional efforts.

The Idea Zone at the University of Rzeszów served not only as a platform for celebrating academic excellence and promotional achievements, but also as the setting for the ceremonial signing of the agreement entitled “The Idea Zone of the University of Rzeszów.” This symbolic moment marked a new chapter in regional cooperation and innovation with the following signatories:
