Success of a Mathematics Graduate in the Prestigious Polish Mathematical Society Competition for the Best Student Thesis in Mathematics Education
We are proud to announce the success of Ms Patrycja Warchoł, MSc a graduate of the 2-year graduate studies in the field of Mathematics, in teacher training specialisation, who has become a laureate of the Anna Zofia Krygowska Competition for the best student thesis in mathematics education, organised by the Polish Mathematical Society.
Her Master’s thesis, entitled “Analysis of Justification Strategies Used by Students When Solving Mathematical Problems”, supervised by Bożena Maj‑Tatsis, PhD was awarded 3rd place in the 2025 edition of the competition. This prestigious distinction highlights the excellent preparation of our graduates for both academic and teaching careers.
