Invitation for students to the Dual Use Hackathon
The Hackathon is a great opportunity for students to participate actively in the event, work as a team and face real challenges in the field of dual-use technology. This event is a great opportunity to encourage young people to come up with their own ideas, test their cpmpetences in practice and to make contact with other people and institutions operating in the field of new technologies.
Dual-Use Hackathon - 24 hours to solve real security challenges
The Dual-Use Hackathon organised by the Subcapthian Innovation Centre is a 24-hour project marathon dedicated to the use of drone technologies in public safety, civil protection and crisis management. Participants will face real problems in which unmanned technologies, AI and data analysis can play a key role. Among the challenges will be floods, fires, infrastructure failures, search for missing people , contamination, blackouts or blockades of escape routes. It`s not about designing another drone. It`s about creating a solution that will make better use of the capabilities of unmanned technologies in situations that require quick response and accurate decisions. The task of the participants will be to develop, among them, the concept of services, procedures, tools, dashboards, decision models or demonstrators, showing how data is aquired with the help of drones, can translate into specific actions of services and administration. We invite students, young engineers, programmers, AI specialists, constructors, designers and all enthusiasts of new technologies to participate. You don`t have to be a drone expert. What matters is the idea, competence and readiness to face a real challenge. The Dual-Use Hackathon will take place as part of the Carpathian Drone Summit, organised by the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.
Do you have an idea, the skills and 24 hours? Take up the challenge and show how technology can improve safety and support better decision-making.
