The Polish Academic Championships in Team Programming took place from 21st to 23rd November 2025 in Warsaw. Six students from the Institute of Computer Science, Faculty of Exact and Technical Sciences represented our University of Rzeszów at the Polish Academic Championships in Team Programming. The team called "UR_1 konfitury" was consisting of Piotr Prezydent, Hubert Fusiarz and Konrad Szyszlak and the team "UR_2 steak-pointer" was consisting of Maciej Kot, Amadeusz Nowak and Łukasz Babiś. University of Rzeszów students proudly represented their institution at the national competition, placing among Poland’s top programming teams.

The Polish Academic Championships in Team Programming is a prestigious event that brings together the most talented young programmers from universities across Poland, challenging them to solve complex algorithmic problems under strict time constraints. The participation of our students in this competition is proof of the high level of computer science education at the University of Rzeszów. The teams from the University of Rzeszów managed to solve 8 tasks, which is a very good result and an excellent sign for the future. Our top team, "UR_2 steak_pointer", achieved an impressive result, being classified in 59th place.

The UWr1 team from the University of Wrocław, consisting of Antoni Buraczewski, Rafał Mańczyk, and Paulina Żeleźnik, became the Academic Team Programming Champions of Poland. Congratulations! The team is young and promising. Starting this year, the University of Rzeszów has launched a dedicated section for the Polish Academic Championships in Team Programming, which will consistently foster and develop the programming talents of our students. We invite all interested individuals to contact the section supervisor directly, either by filling out the form (https://forms.office.com/e/WGRWXJvXrD) or by attending the section meetings. These meetings are held this semester during week B in building B4, room 308 (upcoming meetings: December 1 and 15, January 12 and 26).

Why is important?

Such initiatives show that the University of Rzeszów focuses on practical experience and contact with industry leaders. Participation in The Polish Academic Championships in Team Programming and a visit to Google are not only the competition and learning, but also serve as an inspiration for further development.
