“Energy Transition: Organizational and Technological Challenges”
The panel under the Smart Specialization “the Quality of Life – Renewable Energy Sources,” entitled Energy Transition – Organizational and Technological Challenges was held on November 19, 2025 at the University of Rzeszów. The Department of Regional Development of the Marshal’s Office of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship was the organizer of the event within the framework of the Idea Zone of the University of Rzeszów. The substantive partner was the Subcarpathian Renewable Energy Cluster, while the host of the event was the Faculty of Exact and Technical Sciences of the University of Rzeszów. The participants of this panel were welcomed by Karol Ożóg, Deputy Marshal of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship, Associate Professor Barbara Pękala, Dean of the Faculty of Exact and Technical Sciences of the University of Rzeszów and Associate Professor Grzegorz Wisz, Vice-Dean for External Relations and Faculty Outreach of the same faculty, who chaired the entire panel.

The invited guests delivered their presentations on various topics, including issues related to the green transition, energy clusters, energy storage, energy management and monitoring, as well as financial instruments supporting the development of renewable energy sources. During the event, participants also had the opportunity to take part in a presentation of selected laboratories of the Centre for Microelectronics and Nanotechnology.
