Employees of the Institute of Computer Science attend a prestigious conference in Dresden.

On the invitation of the German Acoustical Society (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Akustik (DEGA), employees of the Institute of Computer Science participated in the DAGA 2026 International Conference on Acoustics, which took place in Dresden on March 23-26, 2026. On behalf of the Polish Acoustical Society, the participants were welcomed at the opening ceremony by prof. dr hab. inż. Lucyna Leniowska. Acoustics has a long tradition at the Technical University of Dresden. An intensive research is carried out in the fields of vehicle acoustics, technical acoustics, musical instrument physics, electroacoustics, building and room acoustics, psychoacoustics, sound design and multimodal acoustic and haptic perception in virtual reality. Studies in acoustics are also very popular in Germany. Nearly 1,500 people took part in DAGA 2026, including three employees of the Institute of Computer Science, prof. Lucyna Leniowska, dr inż. Marcin Grochowina and mgr inż. Marcin Pater who organized a structured session entitled "Processing and control of the vibroacoustic signal”.
