We are delighted to announce an important step in the development of our educational offer!

With the consent of the Rector, prof. dr hab. Adam Reich, pursuant to Resolution No. 143/03/2026 of the Senate of the University of Rzeszów of March 23, 2026, second-cycle studies in Optometry were officially established at our Faculty. Education starts from the summer semester of the 2026/2027 academic year and lasts three semesters. The launch of second-cycle studies is a response to the growing demand of the labour market and the dynamic development of optical and optometric technologies. Our aim is to educate highly qualified staff who will find employment in specialised offices, ophthalmology clinics and leading companies in the optical sector. We kindly invite both first-cycle Optometry graduates and graduates of related fields to pursue their educational paths in this field.  After completing the entire education cycle, students of Optometry can obtain full professional qualifications as optometrists.
