The 40th edition of the Competition for the Best Diploma Thesis of Students from Rzeszów University of Technology and Rzeszów University

On December 5, the final stage of the 40th edition of the Competition for the Best Diploma Thesis was held. The students from Rzeszów University of Technology and the University of Rzeszów took part in this competition. This annual event is organized by the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers of Rzeszów Branch.

The jury has admitted to the final stage five diploma theses from students of the Rzeszów University of Technology and four from the University of Rzeszów. These outstanding theses presented innovative projects in cutting‑edge fields such as telecommunications, the Internet of Things, robotics, optoelectronics, acoustics, and security systems. These Diploma Theses were evaluated by the competition committee composed of :

  • Tomasz Kossowski, PhD, Eng. - Board Member of the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers, Rzeszów University of Technology,
  • Kazimierz Kamuda, PhD, Eng. - Board Member of the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers, Rzeszów University of Technology,
  • Mirosław Mazurek, PhD, Eng. - Vice-Dean of Education of the Faculty of Electrical and Electrical Engineering, Rzeszów University of Technology,
  • Associate Professor Tadeusz Kwater, Bronisław Markiewicz State Academy of Applied Sciences in Jarosław - Board Member of the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers, the University of Rzeszów
  • Associate Professor Aleksander Marszałek - Board Member of the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers, the University of Rzeszów

The competition committee gave high marks to all submitted works and finalists’ presentations. It highlighted the originality and interdisciplinary character of the solutions, which combined creative device design, process optimization, and advanced communication systems.
