Research

The Department staff conducts research in the field of Computer Science. The research is mainly focused on:

• the modelling of systems,
• data mining,
• knowledge representation,
• approximate reasoning, and
• artificial intelligence.

In particular, researchers deal with Petri nets, rough sets, soft computing, intelligent decision making systems, signal and image processing, and databases. The research results are presented during international and domestic scientific conferences.
